Rachel Baumgart, RN, IBCLC
Rachel Baumgart joined Stellar Healthcare in June of 2014. Rachel is an RN with nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare and comes from a family rich with the nursing drive.
She started her career as a nurse assistant caring for the elderly and then upon earning her nursing degree gained experience in the hospital setting – focusing on the care of post-partum moms, newborn infants and surgical patients. Recently, she obtained her credentials as an IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant) and finds special pride in supporting moms and babies towards their breastfeeding goals.
Rachel describes herself as an “ambitious and detail orientated person”; who thrives on overcoming obstacles and finding a resolution to the most complex issues patients face regarding their healthcare.
She holds herself to the highest standards – believing a “good nurse” is one that functions as an extension of the healthcare provider they work under, while also being an advocate for their patients; which she believes aids in laying the foundation for an optimal patient/healthcare provider relationship.
