Sarah Baker, FNP
Sarah (Kaspari) Baker, FNP, joined Stellar Healthcare August 1, 2017. Stellar Healthcare is owned and operated by Melissa Erdmann, FNP. Sarah joins Melissa in providing patient-centered primary care for families in the Fargo/Moorhead community.
Sarah is a family nurse practitioner with 9 years of NP experience and over 30 years as a nurse. Sarah’s philosophy is: “As a provider of primary health care, I will promote health-seeking behaviors, identify and treat illness, and collaborate with other health team professionals to proved comprehensive care for the people I serve.”
Sarah believes a therapeutic relationship with patients is vital for good care. She provides care for infants through geriatric patients. She manages chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and uncomplicated depression/anxiety. She is certified to administer DOT physicals for commercial driver’s licensing. Other areas included in her practice are joint injections, dermatology procedures (cyst removal, lesion removal and biopsy) managed weight loss, and hormone evaluation for peri-menopausal women. A growing area of her practice is incorporation of Ancestral Health and functional medicine with an emphasis on nutrition as a vital piece of good health.
